Off the light: peppery spice on the first half an inch or so. The coarse black pepper fades slowly to a pleasing cedar wood and mild nutty taste.
By mid-point the nutty taste reminds me of hazelnut. The cedar wood note is still present with a toasted buttered white bread taste. The texture is fairly creamy with a smooth delivery.
As the cigar burns past the mid-point and to the finish the true mildness kicks in. There is a mild mossy earthiness mixed in with the woody profile. The nutty note seems to have disappeared and of course the spice has been long gone from the opening.
